The Kombi Day Trip is an epic day adventure designed for couples dreaming of a relaxed, fun, and picture-perfect wedding on North Stradbroke Island (Minjerribah). Imagine celebrating your love from the back of our vintage 1973 Kombi—a true icon and the ultimate symbol of freedom, love, and good vibes! This isn’t just a wedding package; it’s a nostalgic road trip to remember.

Your all-inclusive island adventure starts the moment you step off the mainland!
The Vintage Kombi Experience: Your private Kombi wedding chariot picks you up from the Cleveland ferry terminal, ready for a fun trip across the bay via vehicle barge. Your Kombi driver doubles as your Straddie guide, whisking you, your Celebrant, and your Photographer to breathtaking hidden locations for your ceremony and photos. Get ready for some seriously cool backdrops!
Your Personalised Love Story (The Celebrant): Say your vows the way you mean them! A personalised ceremony with one of our favourite Civil Celebrants ensures your vows are genuinely ‘you.’ We handle all the serious stuff too: legal guidance beforehand and official paperwork lodging afterwards. You just focus on the ‘I do’s!
Award-Winning Photographer (The Memories): Forget stuffy poses! Our photographer has insider knowledge of the most scenic Straddie spots—think epic beaches and stunning headlands. They capture all the action, your happy ceremony, group shots (if you bring guests), and gorgeous newlywed portraits.

- Same-Day Sneak Peek! We won’t keep you waiting. Your photographer will send through a sneak peek immediately so you can announce your new marital status to the world!
Let's break it down
- LEGALS: Your celebrant will guide you through the Australian legal process and requirements. She will also help you with your vows and wedding music
- PLANNING: Your planner will help you with your ceremony date, time and location. She will also plan your photo locations that follow the ceremony
- If you wish to book optional extras, such as flowers and cake, your planner will also assist you - she will just require your inspiration photos to personalise your look and gather quotes
- LOCATION: Your ceremony location will be booked with the local council to satisfy their requirements
- PHOTOGRAPHY: Your photographer will capture your ceremony, family photos and couple portraits afterwards at various scenic locations
- A sneak peek of photos will be sent to you the very same day. Following your wedding, you will receive a USB with high resolution edited images
- TRANSPORTATION: You will be chauffeured in our lovingly restored, vintage 1973 VW Kombi. Stocked with cold drinks and snacks for an island trip
- The vehicle barge will be booked to transport you, your celebrant and photographer
